Welcome to Workonesia. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Workonesia website and platform (the “Service”), operated by Workonesia LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wisconsin, United States (“Workonesia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Users who register as Clients or Talents on the platform are also subject to a separate User Agreement specific to their role, which governs the terms of engagements, payments, intellectual property, and confidentiality. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service regardless of registration status.

1. About the Service

Workonesia is an online marketplace that connects US-based businesses with remote professionals based in Indonesia. The Service provides tools for discovery, communication, and engagement between the two sides of the marketplace, as well as supporting infrastructure for payments and compliance.

Workonesia is not a party to any agreement between a Client and a Talent. We do not employ Talents, and Talents using the platform are independent contractors. We make no representations regarding the quality, suitability, or legality of any services offered or performed through the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone at our sole discretion.

3. Account Registration

Certain features of the Service require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering, keep your account credentials confidential, and notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts;
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service without authorization;
  • Introduce malware or other harmful code; or
  • Use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity, including financial crimes or violations of export controls.

Registered users are additionally bound by the conduct standards set out in their applicable User Agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Workonesia platform — including text, graphics, logos, interface design, and software — is the property of Workonesia LLC or its licensors and is protected by US and international intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Workonesia's trademarks, trade names, or branding without our prior written consent.

Rights to Work Product created by Talents for Clients are governed by the applicable User Agreement and Service Contract between those parties.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or content. We do not endorse or control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WORKONESIA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT VERIFY OR ENDORSE USER PROFILES, CREDENTIALS, OR REVIEWS. CLIENTS AND TALENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE ENTERING INTO ANY ENGAGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WORKONESIA AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL WORKONESIA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID TO WORKONESIA IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING YOUR CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms that are not resolved informally will be subject to binding arbitration in Dane County, Wisconsin, except where prohibited by applicable law. You waive any right to participate in class action proceedings against Workonesia.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 9 survive any termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
